Not a trick at all. You take one big touch into space on purpose. That buys you time to pass.

Set it up like this. Waiting for a pass in a busy part of the pitch.

Study holds every step and names it. Flow runs them together at speed. Space bar plays and pauses; arrow keys step one frame.
